Nutrend Citrulline Malate

Training in the evening and then lying awake is a familiar trade-off. Citrulline malate is the way around it: you get the blood flow and the pump a pre-workout gives you, with no stimulant attached.

Nutrend use the 2:1 ratio, meaning two parts L-citrulline to one part malic acid, at a 3g serving. Citrulline raises nitric oxide, which widens blood vessels and improves circulation to working muscle. It also feeds into the urea cycle, the process your body uses to clear the ammonia that builds up during hard efforts - which is the less-discussed reason it shows up in recovery formulas as well as pre-workouts.

The 300G tub stretches to 100 servings, mixed into 100 to 200ml of water around 30 minutes before training.

It is unflavoured, so it goes into whatever you already drink before a session.
